Devils Bathtub is a must-see hiking destination in Spearfish Canyon and one of the Black Hills’ most popular summer trails. This scenic creekside hike features multiple water crossings, crystal-clear pools, and a smooth rock waterslide leading into the iconic “bathtub” at the end. Parking is located farther up Spearfish Canyon—watch for posted signs on the left. Come prepared to get wet and bring swimsuits to enjoy the refreshing pools along the trail.

Fun winter hike!
We had the trail to ourselves which would never happen in the summer! Definitely would recommend some microspikes. The frozen creek made the many creek crossings easier.
